Questions about Peanut Butter Cookies

How to make peanut butter cookies? To make peanut butter cookies, fat, sugar and flour (or oats/nuts etc) are combined into a smooth dough. The dough is then shaped into balls which are flattened and then chilled to set further. No cooking is required with the final cookie.

Are oat cookies healthy? Oat cookies are not necessarily healthier than regular cookies. In fact, the baking doesn’t really have any impact on the nutritional qualities or energy-density of the cookie. There are not really many vast differences between baked and non-baked cookies.

Can I cook no-bake cookies? No-bake cookies can be baked to achieve a more crunchy, crumbly, set texture. Great thing is that they can also be consumed raw so less waiting!

Are no-bake cookies gluten-free? No-bake cookies can be gluten-free. They are not usually made with wheat flour which has to be cooked. So it could be generalised that no-bake cookies are more likely to be gluten-free when compared to their baked counterparts. However, this is not always the case.
