Gram Flour Pancakes

- 180 g chickpea flour or gram flour/besan
- 750 ml water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1-2 green chillies chopped
- Handful fresh coriander chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil to cook
Slowly whisk in the water and stir until there are no lumps.
Add the chilli and coriander and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes.
Heat a frying pan or skillet, add a dash of oil (optional) and pour a ladle full of batter, stirring the pan around to evenly distribute the mixture.
Allow to cook for 5 minutes before flipping over and cooking a further 5 minutes.
Serve immediately.
